David Brooks hails from Rochester (Pronounced "Raa-Chaa-Staa" in the local tongue), NY. Rochestarians, like most NewYorkers, are rude for no apparent reason. This stems from an inferiority complex brought on by the fact that nobody seems to know, or care, that Rochester is, in fact, the third largest city in the state of New York, and is not actually located in Minnesota.

Rochester is also the original city of the now Sacramento Kings. David had no idea of this fact until he moved to Northern California in 1999, and in typical band wagon fashion adopted the team as his own (and even brags about their championship that happened ten years before he was born.) since none of the local bars - or any sort of television station - will broadcast a hockey game.
